We believe that valuable things take time. Time to grow, time to be made, and time to become part of our lives. Inspired by the rhythms of nature, we design and craft linen garments in Spain that combine comfort, quality and durability — pieces created to accompany everyday life for many years, evolving alongside the people who wear them.
LOESS was born from a reflection on time and a more conscious way of creating. Our name refers to loess, a fertile soil formed over thousands of years through the gradual accumulation of particles carried by the wind — a landscape shaped layer by layer by nature and time itself.
This idea is reflected in our symbol, the hourglass — a reminder that every process has its own rhythm and deserves to be respected. In a world driven by immediacy, we choose a different pace.
Time as a Material
We design timeless garments that prioritise comfort, freedom of movement and versatility. Relaxed, balanced silhouettes that naturally adapt to different bodies and accompany different moments of life without losing their relevance from one season to the next.
We believe a garment should feel right today and continue to do so for years to come. We seek a balance between functionality, quality and understated beauty, moving away from passing trends and towards designs that endure.
Linen
We work exclusively with linen, one of the world's oldest and most noble natural fibres. We are drawn to its honesty, its living texture and its ability to evolve through use.
Linen is strong, breathable and lightweight, softening over time and developing character with every wear. Its beauty lies precisely in this natural evolution — every fold, every movement and every use becomes part of its story.
Made in Spain
Each piece is designed and crafted individually in Spain, with particular attention paid to pattern making, finishing details and overall quality. We believe in thoughtful production, where the value of a garment lies not only in the final result but also in the way it has been created.
Our collection is built around versatility: trousers and skirts are made in sizes, while most other garments come in a one-size format — patterns designed to adapt to different bodies from a place of comfort and freedom.
Producing Only What Is Needed
We produce exclusively to order. We do not work with large inventories or excess stock — we create only what will be used, respecting resources, processes and the time required to make things properly.
Our fabrics hold European Flax™ and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certifications, ensuring fibre traceability and the absence of harmful substances in the final product.
